Geoff comes from an RAF family with both his mother and father serving overseas in World War II. This perhaps fostered his fascination with everything aeronautical, something that Geoff always ruled out pursuing on account of his severely impaired vision. Geoff instead pursued a career in journalism and spent the bulk of his working life at the BBC.

Ann-Marie, or Az as she is known, has held many roles including a paintball instructor and in car insurance sales. This was until she settled on working as a carer at a residential home for people who have visual impairments. In this role she climbed the ladder to the position of acting senior carer. She then left her job to care for her mother who became severely disabled.

At the age of 17 Clive’s life took a different path after suffering a spinal cord injury after a motorbike accident. Mike McClelland

Mike served in the RAF and retired in 2011 after serving 22 years. While serving Mike realised his passion for flight, learning to fly gliders to a solo standard and beginning to fly microlights. This passion was then overshadowed by his love of skydiving.
