Amy’s career has been varied holding positions from a nursery nurse to the branch manager of a funeral directors. Amy is diagnosed with Osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease and a number of other conditions.

Notably, Amy did not consider aviation as an option until starting the Virtual Aviation Experience (VAE) with Aerobility in early 2023. After successfully completing VAE, Amy was encouraged to give flying a go for real! In June of that year Amy took her first experience flight and was offered an Aerobility scholarship later that year.

Now Amy has ambitions to obtain a private pilots license (PPL) and is currently sitting her exams while flying regularly. She is looking forward to getting her instrument and night rating after gaining her licence and is excited to ‘travel to some awesome places and seeing them from the skies.’
