What is the Course?
This 9-month course is a great way to make new friends, grow your confidence and boost your aviation knowledge. Aviation isn’t all about Pilots. Over sixteen sessions you will learn about a range of aviation elements including air traffic control, engineering, meteorology, navigation, fire and rescue, airport development and flight. Throughout the course, you will see the theory in action through flight simulator sessions, interactive activities and experiments. You will also venture outside of the classroom for exercises in the Aerobility hanger and trips to bring your learning to life such as our trip to Farnborough Airport.
Who can apply?
The course is designed for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 with mild to moderate learning or physical disabilities. Participants will gain most from this course if they have at least basic numeracy / literacy skills.
