Clive Jones

Clive has always been interested in aviation and was a member of the air cadets as a teenager. At the age of 17 Clive’s life took a different path after suffering a spinal cord injury after a motorbike accident. Initially, Clive was paralysed below the chest but regained enough movement to walk with crutches.

In 2018 Clive started flying with Aerobility with the aim of gaining a private pilot’s licence (PPL), a goal which was fulfilled in 2023. Since becoming a PPL holder Clive has become a familiar face on touring groups and has ambitions to venture even further afield.

Away from Aerobility Clive enjoys a career in radio as a producer at Classic FM and LBC. He has also been a professional poker player!
