Warriors at Wallop
A celebration of flying achievement
Aerobility and the Air League invite wounded, injured and sick warriors and their families to join us to celebrate your flying achievements; come fly with us over Middle Wallop.
Saturday 21st September 2019
Museum of Army Flying, Middle Wallop, Wiltshire.
0900 – 1700 hrs
This unique event will see us take over Middle Wallop for the whole day.
Vintage aircraft flights are offered to wounded servicemen and women with their families.
(It would be very useful if when you book that you state a preference for the aircraft type you would prefer to fly in on the day i.e. Warrior, Microlight Flex-wing, Glider or a wonderful Historic Aircraft.)
A BBQ will be provided for all attendees during the day, subject to availability, and flying will be offered to all veterans and their families courtesy of Aerobility, The Air League, Flying for Freedom, Army Gliding and the Historic Army Aircraft Flight (HAAF). This will see a diverse range of aircraft and an eclectic mix of people to share experiences and celebrate with throughout the day.
All ages are welcome from our WIS friends and family if they can safely enter and exit an aircraft (a hoist will be available if required). However, if young children are being brought then a gentle reminder that they must be properly supervised and escorted at all times please.
To attend and in order that we have an idea of potential attendees please contact the Aerobility office no later than the 6th September 2019 preferably by email at frontdesk@aerobility.com or call us on 0303 303 1230
We look forward to seeing you there.
