Geoff Elliott-Howell tells us how great it's been to get back in the air at long last!

When lockdown was announced I was obviously disappointed that training has to stop but I could see the sense in it. Then, as restrictions started to get lifted I could see how learning to fly was going to be a long way down the list of permitted activities due to the proximity of the instructor.

Since Aerobility has started flight training again I have done about 5 hours following the protocols set up for safe flight. I have been impressed with the thoroughness of all the staff to ensure that social distancing is observed and that the cockpit is cleaned before every flight.

It's great to be able to get back in the air, I only had 8 hours flying time before lockdown so I had to spend a bit of time recapping but now I feel as if I am making progress again. I have missed flying over the past few months and I've found myself looking up every time an aircraft goes over wishing I was up there.

Thanks Aerobility for you efforts to make this all possible.
