A Christmas Update
Now that we’ve come out of National Lockdown and Christmas is approaching, we wanted to update you on how these affect operations at Aerobility and how easy it is to support us when you’re shopping online too.
Shop and Support
If you are Christmas Shopping online, then don’t forget:
· Easy Fundraising https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/
· Amazon Smile smile.amazon.co.uk: You shop. Amazon gives.
Simply start your online shop at these sites and we’ll receive a donation from everything you buy.
Covid Operations Update
The first thing to note is that Tatenhill is currently in Tier 3, whilst Blackbushe is in Tier 2. Blackbushe is therefore unable to receive visitors or flyers from a Tier 3 region.
Please note too that our previous guidance and Covid SOPs remain in place and that ongoing Covid related updates are available for review here.
As with all flight activity, final decisions are taken on a case-by-case basis and are the responsibility of Mike Owen, Director of Operations at Blackbushe and Craig Knott, Chief Flying Instructor at Tatenhill. Under their guidance we have resumed the following at both locations:
· Solo hire
· Flight training for existing students who are Covid symptom free
Please note too that:
· Flights from Tatenhill will only be able to take-off and land from the same site, with no waypoint stops in-between, except in the case of emergency
· Flights from Blackbushe will not be able to land in a Tier 3 area, except in the case of emergency
Anyone flying with Aerobility will receive a copy of our Covid Statement and Policy before flying with us.
Christmas Opening Hours
Our offices at Blackbushe and Tatenhill will be closed from midday on the 23rd December until 2nd January 2021. We will be unable to offer any flying during this period.
If you have any questions about flying with Aerobility then please either call 0303 303 1230 or email frontdesk@aerobility.com.
With very best wishes from everyone at Aerobility HQ.
